Meet our Genetic COunseling Assistant (GCA) Interns!

Our GCA’s provide day-to-day support for our genetic counselors and patients from answering calls and emails, scheduling appointments, and partnering with clinicians, patients, and their families to ensure their needs are met throughout every step of the process. When they aren’t focused on their clinical tasks, these bright minds are working on independent and group projects to improve education and awareness on various topics related to genetics and public health.

Our Genomics Advocacy Interns spend their time researching and developing projects to benefit the community as a whole. They dedicate their spare time to broadening their perspectives and breadth of knowledge on genetics and public health topics. Their completed projects have been published to our blog, website, and as various printed and digital media.
